"Good controls, and the tutorials helped me a lot"
I tried skullgirls out and, the controls feel smooth to me. Fighting games I’m not very good at, but the tutorials made timing, combos, and blocking way easier to get without me feeling totally confused. It explains things in smaller steps, which I really liked. Took a little while for everything to feel normal, but it feels fair and responsive. Once it starts clicking, it’s really fun.

"Runs smooth for me"
The site load really quick on my browser, and it didn’t bug out on my phone at all. Easy experience overall

"I wasn’t totally sure what to expect..."
I wasn’t totally sure what to expect at first, but I’m relieved I tried it because the art style is amazing. The animation feels really smooth, and every character has so much personality in the way they move. I keep coming back just to watch it again...

"Online matches were smooth"
I had a good time playing online. Most of my matches ran smoothly with barely any lag, which was a nice surprise. I did reach out to support once just to check about connection settings, and they basically said something like, “stick with the nearest region and make sure your connection is stable,” which helped. Overall, solid experience.

"I had fun overall, but the controls..."
I had fun overall, but the controls didn’t always feel smooth to me. Some of the combos felt kind of clunky, and getting the timing right could be more annoying than satisfying. There were moments where I’d feel like I did the input correctly and the game just didn’t respond the way I expected, that part was weird.

"The character designs just aren’t my thing"
I gave Skullgirls a fair shot, and I can see why some people really like the art style. In the right context, that exaggerated, super-stylized look can be fun, and a few characters do look cool. But for me, a lot of the designs feel kind of too busy or over-the-top, to the point where it pulls me out of the game a bit. It’s not bad by any means, just not really the kind of visual style I personally enjoy.

"Cheap game, DLC was actually worth it"
I grabbed the DLC when it was on sale, it turned out to be a good deal. For the price, I’m not really complaining.

"Great lore, but the story gets a little tangled"
I really liked the world and the characters, honestly. The lore was probably my favorite part, and I found myself way more interested in the background details than the main plot sometimes. The story does get kind of confusing here and there, like I had to stop and think, wait, why are we doing this again? Weirdly, I still remember this one tiny detail about a character mentioning a cracked blue cup, which somehow stuck with me more than some of the bigger plot moments. Overall, cool ideas and atmosphere, just a bit messy in how the story comes together.
